Join us for an engaging and clinically grounded continuing education experience designed for mental health professionals seeking deeper competence in grief work.
Participants will:

Examine the various presentations and phases of grief, including ambiguous and disenfranchised loss

Understand the emotional and psychological effects of loss across the lifespan

Review evidence-informed grief frameworks, including the Dual Process Model and Worden’s Tasks of Mourning

Explore practical interventions drawn from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches
-
Strengthen awareness of ethical considerations and professional boundaries when supporting clients through grief.

Registration Terms and Conditions
For Training: Art of Coping (NBCC SP-4946).
Cancellations made at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled training are eligible for a refund minus a $25 administrative processing fee. Cancellations submitted between seven (7) days and seventy-two (72) hours before the training qualify for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than seventy-two (72) hours before the event, as well as failure to attend without prior notice, are not eligible for a refund.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@balancelifecounseling.com and include the participant’s full name, registration email address, and training title. If a participant fails to notify us of cancellation and does not attend, no refund or transfer credit will be granted. Please allow seven (7) to ten (10) business days for approved refunds to process. For live webinar trainings, participants are responsible for ensuring their internet connection, device compatibility, and webinar access are functioning properly prior to the event; refunds will not be issued for technical difficulties occurring on the participant’s end.
If a disruption results from our platform or system, the situation will be reviewed and addressed accordingly. Login instructions are sent to the email provided at registration, and participants are responsible for contacting us at least twenty-four (24) hours before the event if access information has not been received; refunds will not be granted for email delivery issues such as spam filters, incorrect email entry, or system restrictions. Participants who register but do not attend a live webinar are not eligible for a refund. To receive continuing education credit and a certificate of completion, attendees must be actively present for the full duration of the training and complete the required post-training evaluation within forty-eight (48) hours of the event; certificates are distributed via email within ten (10) business days. In the rare event that BLISS Counseling & Consulting cancels a training due to low enrollment, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be promptly notified and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future training of equal value.
